i'm currently working as part-timer at a 'well-known'(eh jap well known ke) retail store 

gatal telor sangat nak ikot jerry and dyan pergi interview 

all three of us , got the job

first i thought

ala retail shop je 

tak 'thrill' lansung

but god , i was wrong 

eff

had to stand most of the time 

my legs were totally killing me 

hambek engko 

nak sangat 

now why did i apply for the bloody job 

god . gler anjing aku kerja 

i'm a slave to the retail company 

slave to the never ending consumers

hunger for cheap affordable clothes offered 

damn u consumers

for these few days that i've been working 

i've helped a lot of buyers with their random questions

A: wei seriously woman. aiyo. tergamam seketika aku nak cari jawapan untuk question ni. ko dah la besar , nanti aku ckap ko L ko terasa pulak . bila aku cakap ko size S ko kata aku sarcastic pulak . jadi biasanya aku akan kata M. ni mcam jawapan selamat 

Q: Adakah itu baju yang tinggi tinggi di shoulder ?

A: haaa hambek ko. ni nak jawap apa . aku sendiri tak paham dia explain apa kat aku. tapi aku rasa dia nak baju yng ada puff kat shoulder kot.....

Q: What time is it ?

A:  Aku bukan jam ko. sekian.

Q: Miss do u you think i look better in blue / grey. (time ni aku jaga fitting. so dia siap peraga baju kat aku.then suruh aku pilih mana cantek)

A: Kalo ko tau aku dari mana. ko dapat diskaun ke. TAK KOT.

CONCLUSION 

kerja retail sebenarnya sangat penat. 

aku selalu akan sedaya upaya senyum bila aku kerja front of the store. tapi bila perut dah lapar. aku minta maaf, aku tak boleh nak control emosi. 

berdiri 9 jam straight . ko mampu ?

sememangnya kurang asam , sebab aku sering tak dpat menyambut birthday aku dekat kk

tarikh bersejarah bagi aku 

hahahaaa

besejarah la sangat 

hari ni 

akibat dipengaruhi oleh zella

aku juga telah membeli sepasang kanta mata palsu 

eh jap

sebab power mata aku seblah lain lain dan jauh beza

aku tepaksa beli dua kotak

walaupun niat di hati hanya mahu mencoba

ni kaler kelabu

kalo kaler hijau

aku rasa mata aku boleh jadi kucing

sejujurnya aku rasa pelik pkai kanta mata palsu

malah tambah pening bila pkai cermin mata

+ aku rasa macam ada plastik di mata aku 

(hahaha . ye memang ada plastik di mata anda -__-!)

+sejak darjah satu aku pkai cermin mata, terasa sumpah pelik meninggalkan cermin mata di rumah

rasanya bukan utk kegunaan harian, sebab aku lebih sukakan cermin mata  :)

DAY II : Kaamatan Festival.Unduk Ngadau 2011

got a few messages from my friends 

ignored it

figured that i could not skip this event

tagged along

since it's the final round for the beauty pageant 

plus aircond in the main hall

plus , u guys are my priority no.1 ryte ////

ngeh :P

anyway day 2 continues

for the Kaamatan Festival at KDCA

where the Unduk Ngadau is held at the main hall

thank god

*air cond u saved my life :)

 after lunch at Pak Man's

we arrived at KDCA around twopm 

managed to get in the hall

secured some seats

and the Unduk Ngadau begins

The main hall fully occupied

priority no. 1 

this is the theatrical dance opening ceremony of the event.
the storyline of the dance is based on the legend of Hominodun

The 40 Unduk Ngadau finalist representing each district of Sabah.
The problem with Unduk Ngadau is that , the contestant walks so slow eventhough they are not heels.
I guess this is how they judge the poise and beauty of person :s
but seriously so damn slow one . for all the finalist to walk and be in position on stage i roughly estimated the time  needed is around 15 -20 minutes. serious. tak tipu

Finally all the contestant on stage. Lidut gila dia jalan. Lidut means slow.
and i really think that they should be accompanied by traditional music while they walk in , not by some random music .

plus , when they were introducing the judges, giving away token of appreciation or something like that ,it was accompanied by Pirates of the Caribbean theme song . What the F? seriously in my mind Capt. Jack Sparrow was running or escaping from some enemy . Seriously Pirates of the Caribbean theme song ?????? sumpah not suitable at all. pisses me off through out the whole event . 

Blacked out . Unduk Ngadau Peringkat Negeri Sabah boleh boleh pulak  blacked out. seriously
dahla discovery channel tgh cover pasal event ni. pfft. bukan seklai pulak tu ada dua tiga kali . eff

15 finalist. 

The 15 finalist had a round of Sumazau dance with the VIP.

Last year's winner , Crystal Eve from Tanjung Aru  giving her last appearance before handing the title to the this year's winner

with daphne iking . denise mtv vj was there to  as she was on duty to cover for her  discovery channel show.
my friends lost interest in the unduk ngadau results , once they  announced that denise was in the same event hall.

Penampang district is the host to this event
the winner Bo Tiza Arthur S Disimon of Penampang clearly didn't managed to give a  non stutter  answer for the Q & A session. come to think of it she did a really horrible job on answering despite having the advantage of  being the last person questioned. by then u should be well prepared since there is only 5 question and there is 15 finalist . sheesh and yet she managed to settle in as the seven finalist and subsequently winning the crown . pfft. such a waste of my precious time seating throughout the comp and the results were definitely biased . full of crap shit .

After a long wait , they didn't manage to take a picture with denise keller as she was  busy covering the Unduk Ngadau  2011 for the discovery channel . 

We went back after kecewa tunggu for so long but denise tak muncul-muncul.

DAY 1 : Kaamatan Festival.Unduk Ngadau 2011

baru sampai hari ahad malam

the next morning 

kul 10.30 /11.00 am 

they pick me up

to go and watch the Pesta Kaamatan at KDCA , Penampang 

even though i lived in Sabah for the past 23 years

sadly to say 

i never been to an Unduk Ngadau before

Unduk Ngadau is a beauty pageant held during the Pesta Kaamatan

legend has it that the the only child of a couple, named Hominodun, who was the most beautiful maiden at that time , was willing to be sacrificed and be an offering to the great earth so that there will be seeds once again for planting and food for the people when times are harsh and there were no longer grain seeds to be planted. 

the sacrifice of Hominodun brings plentiful of harvest to the village 

hence,the Kadazandusun people included the Unduk Ngadau beauty pageant as part of their Kaamatan Festival as a sense of respect and admiration to the legendary Hominodun.

when we arrived at KDCA

asked around

the Unduk Ngadau semi final will start at two pm 

the day was sickeningly hot

so we decide to grab some food before the pageant

Thanx to Nestle who supported the event, they gave out free maggi asam laksa during the day .
but , maggi during lunch , maybe not so much of a good idea. sweating like pig while having maggi.

Jus jambu batu . taste so yek. notice the sign saying that the jus jambu batu + asam boi+ susu saying LAGI LUAR BIASA. TAK SEDAP OK!

After the long wait , we went to the main hall to watch the pageant only to find out that they held the pageant outdoor, beneath some astaka . and when we get there it has been goin on for awhile . sheeesh . so lost during this festival. nama jak org sabah. shame on u .

since the 15 finalist will be announced on the final day of Pesta Kaamatan,

we decided not to stay but to walk around the cultural village under the hot scorching sun 

time aku nak naik bridge ni la tiba tiba dia tutup.pfttt. dahla panas.

this is one of the attraction at the traditional houses.

cramped with kids and ADULTS, i decided not to go for it
just the thought of rubbing sweats with stranger.euw.no thank you.

but it was too hot couldn't take it any longer

so we decided to chow

went yoyo-ing after that

we decided to give a rest day for tomorrow  

since i just got back 

but hell i was wrong
