this is a SUPER DUPER LONG WEDDING POST!

as usual 

i'd say that i was damn busy to write anything in my blog 

which is partly true 

hahahaaa

so what i've been up to 

with hari raya , wedding and more weddings in the schedule 

every weekend is filled with one thing after another

(chewah . bajet super bz la konon) 

after raya celebration , i attended put's wedding in muar 

put was one of my coursemates

kitaorg dulu duk serumah kat rumah sewa perak 

consist the 6 of us 

put .qila. mint. liyana. nik and myself 

witnessing put getting married was kinda emotional 

it felt like just yesterday when we together getting our assignments done in house 33 

put , yang slalu minta aku g teman dia berak kat kampus pada tgh malam namun aku abaikan(HAHAHA) 

getting married ALREADY 

but like i always said 

whatever that makes my friend happy , i'm definitely happy for them 

wedding reception was held in muarJOHOR

a food galore indeed 

where every meal u'll remember till forever in your tastebuds

KL Bird Park

the other day i visited the KL Bird Park 

situated at Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur 

yup this is one my activities during my unemployed days in the month of October

seee i told u i was busy occupying my time with educational activities .haha

the admission fees rm 20 ringgit perperson if u're malaysian . foreigners much more expensive apparently.

to me , it was quite pricey . to me lah . but the whole experience was definitely awesome so i didn't mind the price at the end of the day . world largest free flight aviary ok/super awesome birds walking on the pavement like a herd of sheep walking in the middle of the road in new zealand.  no point of me writing long essays so let me stuff u with pictures.haha.

once u step in the aviary , u'll be greeted by lovebirds. banyak giler . serious tak tipu. belum apa apa dah stuck situ about ten minutes. ok above pics are not love birds. haha. above pic are egret. EGRET ok bukan STORK. 

STORK tu lain. ramai org panggil stork . sebenarnya dia egret. misconception warga kota kini. if you're living in kota kinabalu u definitely need not go far to see egret. literally u just have to take 'jalan laut' dekat masjid bandaraya confirm ada punya. 

ok i was literally running around taking photos of the peacock until i realised.......

this bird is like wearing a headgear piece. cool huh.

.....until i realised.ni sambungan caption atas. haha. peacocks are everywhere in this park. if they organize an election here, peacocks will definitely win hands down. serious. this is a picture of peacocks conquering the park slowly planning to take over the park. serious.

me feeding mr peacock/we actually wondered how to actually get up close to any of the peacocks , definitely bird food was the answer. the birds will come close to u to get some bird food. so bring lots of 50 cent coins!!!

ok mr peacock rarely open up like this. serious. so this picture very rare ok.

i think bird park was fun. puas hati la with what u pay. but i guess if u come at the right time during feeding time and the amphitheater show i guess it is more worth it. but all together awesome la. way much better than my trip to zoo negara. if u're near to lake gardens take a detour to kl bird park. if u don't have 20 ringgit with u outside of the park plenty of monyet for free entertainment. haha.

DAY II : Kaamatan Festival.Unduk Ngadau 2011

got a few messages from my friends

since it's the final round for the beauty pageant 

plus aircond in the main hall

plus , u guys are my priority no.1 ryte ////

anyway day 2 continues

for the Kaamatan Festival at KDCA

where the Unduk Ngadau is held at the main hall

thank god

 after lunch at Pak Man's

we arrived at KDCA around twopm 

managed to get in the hall

secured some seats

and the Unduk Ngadau begins

The main hall fully occupied

priority no. 1 

this is the theatrical dance opening ceremony of the event.
the storyline of the dance is based on the legend of Hominodun

The 40 Unduk Ngadau finalist representing each district of Sabah.
The problem with Unduk Ngadau is that , the contestant walks so slow eventhough they are not heels.
I guess this is how they judge the poise and beauty of person :s
but seriously so damn slow one . for all the finalist to walk and be in position on stage i roughly estimated the time  needed is around 15 -20 minutes. serious. tak tipu

Finally all the contestant on stage. Lidut gila dia jalan. Lidut means slow.
and i really think that they should be accompanied by traditional music while they walk in , not by some random music .

plus , when they were introducing the judges, giving away token of appreciation or something like that ,it was accompanied by Pirates of the Caribbean theme song . What the F? seriously in my mind Capt. Jack Sparrow was running or escaping from some enemy . Seriously Pirates of the Caribbean theme song ?????? sumpah not suitable at all. pisses me off through out the whole event .

dahla discovery channel tgh cover pasal event ni. pfft. bukan seklai pulak tu ada dua tiga kali . eff

15 finalist. 

The 15 finalist had a round of Sumazau dance with the VIP.

Last year's winner , Crystal Eve from Tanjung Aru  giving her last appearance before handing the title to the this year's winner

with daphne iking . denise mtv vj was there to  as she was on duty to cover for her  discovery channel show.
my friends lost interest in the unduk ngadau results , once they  announced that denise was in the same event hall.

the winner Bo Tiza Arthur S Disimon of Penampang clearly didn't managed to give a  non stutter  answer for the Q & A session. come to think of it she did a really horrible job on answering despite having the advantage of  being the last person questioned. by then u should be well prepared since there is only 5 question and there is 15 finalist . sheesh and yet she managed to settle in as the seven finalist and subsequently winning the crown . pfft. such a waste of my precious time seating throughout the comp and the results were definitely biased . full of crap shit .

After a long wait , they didn't manage to take a picture with denise keller as she was  busy covering the Unduk Ngadau  2011 for the discovery channel . 

We went back after kecewa tunggu for so long but denise tak muncul-muncul.

but then again it's a fun experience to explore and witness yourself the culture of the kadazandusun people
